Day 01: Welcome to Hanoi                                                                    (D)

Hanoi, the antique and dynamic capital of Vietnam, which is becoming the important economic and international transaction center of the whole country with office buildings, skyscrapers, dynamic young generation. Besides, Hanoi still keeps old beauty, long histories and rich cultures as well. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, You meet your tour guide and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and take a rest, enjoy your first day in Hanoi strolling around the Old Quarter where you can see local life, unique cultures. And then enjoy dinner at a nice local restaurant.

Day 02: Hanoi Sights/Capital of Culture                                              (B, L, D)

The second day is your full day trip in Hanoi, after breakfast with Vietnamese coffee, Let’s find out Hanoi by a city sightseeing. The first stop is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, which is  known for honoring the national hero: President Ho Chi Minh. Nearby is the magnificent Presidential Palace where Ho Chi Minh denied staying in when Vietnam defeated the French. Besides, Uncle Ho built a stilt house with the surrounding house are a beautiful garden and a fishpond. Not far, we move to the One Pillar Pagoda (one of Vietnam’s two most iconic pagodas) and well-known for its unique lotus shape.

And then go to the biggest lake in Hanoi, West Lake to enjoy the fresh air and see the outstanding scenery in Hanoi with the beautiful road and a calm lake. Temple of Literature is the next place where we know about the first university and it honours Confucius and the best scholars.

Afternoon, let’s visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology with unique houses modeling after the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. After that, Come back the Old Quarter and discover small streets, local life by the interesting way by cyclo, the rudimentary transport of Vietnam. Take a night train to Sapa.

DAY 3: SAPA – HAM RONG MOUNTAIN – CAT CAT – SHIN CHAI    ( B / L / D )

– You will explore the Ham Rong Mountain with unspoiled scenery and spectacular. Here, you can visit many kinds of colorful orchid garden from Indochina area. Passing two Heaven Gate, you will be arriving in the top of Ham Rong is called Pitch Cloud, and have panoramic view of Sapa. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit Cat Cat – Shin Chai villages of Black Hmong people. There, you’ll have a chance to Cat Cat waterfall, learn culture, unique customs of the people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools. Enjoy Sapa Love Market, a traditional market of ethnic minority at night (on Saturday night).

DAY 4 : TAVAN & LAO CAI VILLAGE – HANOI                                     (B/L/D)

– After breakfast, Start walking tour for Muong Hoa valley where we can admire magnificient landscapes and trek on a small trails going to Y Linh Ho village (with Black H’mong tribe). Trek through lush rice – terraces towards Lao Chai village, experiencing Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture.

– Next cross suspension bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village inhabited by Dzay minorities exhibiting strong Chinese culture. Go back to Lao Cai for an overnight train to Hanoi. The train departs at 9:15 pm.

Day 05: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Bay of 1600 islands                   (B, L, D)

Today, leave the bustling city behind to visit the magnificent Bay by a 4-hour scenic drive. On arrival in Halong Bay which is considered as a New Wonder of the world and a World Heritage Site. Before boarding an overnight cruise, enjoy a cup of coffee while waiting. Once we begin our cruise on Halong Bay, the fresh seafood lunch is serving and in the meantime, we watch the beautiful seascape with thousands of islets and islands rising from the sea.  We can see the famous islands such as Cock fighting islands, Sail Island, Dog Island, Dinh Huong Island or after lunch, take a cave visit Amazing cave or a swim at Titop beach. Kayaking is also a great idea for you to discover the Bay by your own way.

Then have dinner on board while watching a sunset. If you’re interested in cooking, a cooking class is available. And then take the rest of time spending on the sundeck or watching a classic Vietnamese.

 Day 06: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue                                             (B, L, D)

Wake up early morning to watch a sunrise and enjoy the fresh air on the cruise at the calm water. After having breakfast and tea, coffee, continue some activities such as swimming and diving into the emerald green waters or do Kayak – glide through the waters at your own pace or just relax and lie on the sundeck.

After lunch and check out you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi by car for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide who takes you to your Hue hotel downtown.

Day 07: Hue Imperial Citadel                                                      (B, L, D)

Have breakfast at hotel and take a visit to Hue Imperial Citadel, one of Vietnam’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945.

Leave here to continue to visit Imperial Museum is a gallery of antiques displaying collections of bronze, pottery, chinaware, Phap Lam enamel, court robes, head-gear and personal belongings of former Vietnam Emperors then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb. Afternoon boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, visit Dong Ba market.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 08: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An                                                 (B, L, D)

Morning, you will transfer to Hoi An, passing the picturesque Lang Co beach and Da Nang. Arrive in Hoi An, check-in & relax.

Afternoon, together with your local guide in Hoi An, walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, pagodas and stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. Evening is free for enjoying the town which lot of tailors, riverside café, restaurants in old houses.

Day 09: Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon                                              (B, L, D)

Have Breakfast before taking a flight to Ho Chi Minh city from Danang airport. After lunch at HCM city, we will begin sightseeing by visiting the former Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral and the French style central Post Office.  Also visit Cholon, the Chinatown of Saigon where we see the huge Binh Tay wholesale market and the beautiful Thien Hau Pagoda.

Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon                                    (B, L, D)

After breakfast, We leave the bustling Ho Chi Minh to transfer to one of relics with the significantly strategic location during the war – Cu Chi tunnels to visit the famous underground tunnel system where The Viet Cong hid during the Vietnamese – American War.

Here, you can watch a short documentary video that shows how the tunnels were constructed and how fierce the war happened before entering the tunnels themselves. Spend an hour exploring the tunnels. We will visit a network of 120 miles (200 kilometers) of tunnels that played a crucial and including hospitals, schools, command centers, kitchens and sleeping quarters.

Afterwards we can try hot tea and cassava, typical guerrilla food during wartime. Then head back to Saigon for relax and overnight

Overnight in Sai Gon

Day 11: Saigon – Vinh Long – Cai Be Floating market – Saigon (B, L, D)

After have breakfast, we head for Cai Be by a 3-hour drive. On arrival, board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market to see riverside life where locals exchange goods on boats and then by a row-boat that takes you through canals to arrive in a great orchard where you can freely taste many famous tropical fruits of Vietnam and see how coconut candy, crispy rice cake and cereamic are made at workshops (Complimentary premium hot tea)

After this, take a bike, cycle through a village to check out several rural shops or you can relax on a hammock for a short rest. Back to Saigon for relax and overnight.
